particulars n.

1. in joc. use of police phr. ‘take down [one’s] particulars’, to remove a woman’s underwear, thus have intercourse.

2. (Irish) the male genitals.

3. (US prison) any member of the authorities who has an immediate effect on a prisoner’s life: a warder, the sentencing judge, the parole board etc.
