[SE gull, to deceive]

to trick, to fool, to lie.

[Aus]Vaux Vocab. of the Flash Lang. in McLachlan (1964) 280: wrinkler a person prone to lying; such a character is called also a gully, which is probably an abbreviation of Gulliver, and from hence, to gully signifies to lie, or deal in the marvellous.
