evil v.

[SE evil/evil adj. (2) + sfx -ing]

(US black) to act in a deliberately negative manner, e.g. riotously, argumentatively, criminally.

[US] ‘Misc.’ in AS XXXIV:4 306: Sporadically, evil may occur as an adverb and even as the base of a verbal: ‘She was evilling.’ i.e., brooding.
