(US drugs) a (mythical) form of marijuana growing in the New York subways, the result of the drug being flushed away to avoid police raids.

The nutrient rich sludge has germinated seeds that were flushed down the toilet during drug raids, resulting in extremely powerful plants, known locally as Manhattan white or subway silver. It is hard to harvest, however, because it is guarded by all those alligators. |
