(5 subsenses) 6. a ticket-taker, who tears or ‘chops’ tickets. 7. a helicopter; thus copper-chopper, a police helicopter. 8. a cut-down, ‘chopped’ motorbike, spec. a Harley-Davidson, preferred for speed and style by outlaw motorcycle gangs, e.g. Hell’s Angels. 9. as sense 8 but applied to a bicycle.
